お年玉袋 red packs

Like the Chinese, Japanese people have the tradition of giving money to their relatives and friends during New Year using a small envelope. The difference is that Japanese New Year falls on the first day in a year whereas the Chinese follows the their Lunar New Year calendar, which is usually on the last week of January or the first week of February.
Also, Japanese red packs come in a lot more patterns and colors.
